We had dinner here Saturday night. The view was amazing as we sat on their patio overlooking the Truckee River. Everything was spectacular from the drinks to the food. We enjoyed the clam chowder, magi mahi tacos and the halibut dinner. Some of the best seafood dishes we have had. The waitstaff were on top of asking if we needed anything and how everything was.

I love fish n chips. Seriously I love them and I judge them and Smee’s hit the mark! Delicious cod in a crispy batter with a plate of fries. Can’t get better than that! Smee’s has a beautiful spot overlooking the Truckee River. If you go when it’s warm you can opt to sit outside, if not, the inside is beautiful. A large bar with TVs and a large selection of drinks. Service was perfect. Thanks for a great meal!

Outstanding service, Nicola was great! Had a beautiful view of the Truckee River. We had the Black Mussels to start, yum…. The shrimp skewers and the shrimp tacos were so good! We had several glasses of the J. Lohr Chardonnay… such a great relaxing evening! Thanks so much Smees!!!

Food was really good, I recommend the fish and chips. Their tartar sauce is to die for! I tried the seafood gumbo but couldn’t get much a seafood taste, it just tasted like gumbo to me lol but still good. Def would come back and get fish/chips again though 🙂 Seafood gumbo
